Production Group Leader

Bri-Stor Systems is a market leader in light commercial vehicle conversions and currently converts over 8000 vehicles a year for a number of customers. There is always a variation of builds going through the production lines, creating an exciting and challenging working environment.
We are looking to strengthen the Production team with the recruitment of a Production Group Leader.
The Role
Responsible for coordination and supervision of production team activities to ensure detailed production plan requirements are met at maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and organise production resources in order to meet customer requirements.
2. Monitor and control production key performance indicators of cost, quality, delivery, housekeeping, absence, etc. in accordance with company requirements.
3. Support and drive continuous improvement activities in order to optimise costs, equipment, and processes.
4. Leadership of direct reports, building effective teams, developing motivation and commitment, maintaining morale, and addressing all disciplinary issues.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety.
Minimum Requirements:
Suitable applicants will ideally possess the following:
1. Experience within a medium to high volume environment.
2. Working experience at management or supervisory level.
3. Effective communication at all business levels.
4. Strong organisational and decision-making skills.
5. Team-working and leadership skills.
6. Evidence of producing high-quality standards under pressure.
