This role can be on a hybrid working basis, which means you'll have the opportunity to spend time working both in the studio and at home. We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.
WHAT'S THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced PR Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will have a strong communications background, preferably within gaming, film or TV, and an expansive list of media contacts. As a PR Manager you understand the difference between tactics and strategy, and the importance of harnessing the right tools to convey your message and drive awareness. You'll also have extensive experience of both internal and external stakeholder management, ideally including licensed IP.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
1. Working with key stakeholders to create, plan, and deliver aligned PR campaigns and events around Frontier's titles and brand, using research driven data and insights.
2. Working with the wider Publishing team to develop broad long-term strategies for increasing engagement and conversation.
3. Building and maintaining relationships with global media outlets and key influencers across multiple channels ensuring that a positive brand image is always conveyed.
4. Coordinating with international PR agencies.
5. Writing and editing press releases, fact sheets, FAQs, planning documents, and other PR material.
6. Consulting during PR & communications crises.
7. Attending and managing our presence at global events (E3, Gamescom, etc.).
8. Using analytical tools to analyse and measure all activities to improve effectiveness and response; setting KPIs and developing plans accordingly.
9. Auditing existing software and tools, leading on research, recommendation and negotiation of PR tools.
10. Regular and ad hoc reporting as required.
11. Mentoring and supporting PR Managers across the team, providing consultation on projects where necessary.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
1. Experience working in a similar PR or related role within gaming, film or TV.
2. Strong demonstrable experience of managing reputation and relationship building.
3. Strong strategic mindset with the ability to critically analyse and interpret data to define and meet goals and KPIs.
4. Demonstrable experience of planning and executing on experiential and stunt driven PR activations, with evidence of driving widespread media awareness.
5. Strong relationships with key international specialist and non-specialist media outlets.
6. Very strong writing, editing, presentation and communication skills.
7. Well-organised, process-driven and able to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Proactive approach to communications, with the ability to respond reactively where necessary.
9. Ability to handle complex and sensitive communications with confidence.
10. Confident working in a fast-paced environment and able to react positively to change.
11. Willing and able to travel to industry events and conventions.
BONUS IF YOU HAVE
1. Previous people management experience.
2. Degree qualified or CIPR qualified or working towards.
3. International, European or Asian working experience and/or language skills.
4. An understanding of the videogames market, and the specialist and non-specialist media landscape.
5. Passionate about video games.
