Due to continued expansion and a strong forward order base, exciting opportunities have arisen for a Building Estimator to join the Technical Services Team at Estimators Online. The successful candidate will be based at the MicroBuild Head Office in Central Manchester, with opportunities for remote working.
Generous remuneration, based on experience, with 28 holiday days (including bank holidays). Holidays rise to 29 days after 1 year and increase 1 day every year up to a maximum of 38 days. The candidate will also receive company medical insurance (after a qualifying period).

Exciting opportunities await experienced Building Estimators to join our pioneering ‘Technical Services Team’ at Estimators Online. If you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience post training and are passionate about providing accurate building estimates, we invite you to be a part of our dynamic team. Successful candidates will undergo induction at our Technical Services Center in Central Manchester, with the flexibility to choose between hybrid or office-based work post-induction.
Responsibilities:
Using our in-house developed software and industry-leading paperless quantification systems, Building Estimators will be responsible for converting building drawings into accurate labour and materials estimates for various domestic building projects. Project scopes encompass a wide variety, including domestic extensions, loft conversions, barn conversions, basement conversions, refurbishments, and new builds.
Skills and Requirements
Experienced in building estimating (minimum 5 years post training).
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in estimating software applications.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Knowledge of construction industry regulations and requirements.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary: £40,000 per annum + benefits.
