Position Statement:
As Analyst PTP UK, you will work with the Manager of PTP within Hilton’s UK Centre of Excellence. You will provide control oversight of the Procure to Pay process and support the efficient operation of processing and paying over 450,000 transactions annually, covering a spend in excess of GBP0.5bn. You will coach and collaborate with Team Members to ensure their defined sub-processes are managed and measured correctly, identifying areas to optimize delivery.
You will oversee the lifecycle of purchase expense management and support team members to achieve optimal performance in the PTP Tower. Experience in Procure to Pay processes, outsourced service provider partnering, data mining, and delivering structured improvements are essential attributes for this role.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the PTP Manager, you will be responsible for control oversight and improvement of the PTP processes to ensure optimized payment performance, compliance with financial controls, and achievement of performance metric targets. This position has a strong affiliation with Accounts Payable processes.
The Analyst PTP will own sub-process performance and have oversight across the PTP tower for end-to-end process and accounting understanding, including correct accounting treatment and VAT compliance. Furthermore, you will:
* Achieve 100% Operational Effectiveness of defined Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls and robust compliance in Hotel audits testing.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to identify and deliver optimal operational delivery and sustainable improvements.
* Identify improvements and replication opportunities across similar processes in the PTP Tower.
* Engender a sense of empowerment in pursuit of top quartile performance.
* Understand and interpret performance metrics associated with your sub-process and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal compliance.
* Leverage data mining and analysis skills to drive evidence-based interventions to meet targets.
What are we looking for?
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
* Bachelor's degree or relevant working experience in lieu thereof.
* Relevant analytical work experience including data analysis in finance or high-volume transaction processing functions.
* Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills.
* Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize responsibilities.
* Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis; experienced in project management delivery.
* Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft, Blackline, and Concur applications preferred.
