As our Excursions Manager, you ll know what it takes to make an excursion both fun and memorable while ensuring every detail is managed safely and smoothly. What does it involve? At Stafford House Study Holidays, we welcome over 6,000 young learners (aged 817) from around the world each summer. Our mission is to help students improve their English through engaging classroom lessons and a lively program of activities and excursions. As an enthusiastic and energetic manager, you ll be responsible for managing the delivery of our fun excursions programme. From bustling city tours to exploring historical landmarks, theme parks and iconic attractions, you ll support with pre-planned excursions that highlight the best of the UK, making each trip an adventure our students safe, fun and exciting. You'll confirm all facilities and booking details with the school. Liaising with external suppliers, such as coach companies to support excursions and events. You are provided with materials, and support and guidance from our experienced senior management team. You will play an active role in supporting and training your team of Activity Leaders, Senior Activity Leaders, and Teachers, giving briefings and designating tasks. Locations: Uxbridge - London, Cambridge & Oakham - Leicestershire - This is a residential contract and we provide full-board accommodation. Contracts: Contract of 4-6 weeks from 17th June to 10th August 2025 depending on school you work at. This can be a little flexible. You must be available to attend our training weekend in June 2025 Hours: 60 hours per week over 6 days. Pay: 732.60 per week holiday entitlement Emergency Phone Payment up to 40 per week ( 20 per night payments for emergency phone cover anticipated 2x per week) Loyalty Payments (if applicable) - 33 per week paid at the end of your contract Incentive: Employees may receive a 500 discount on CELTA training course provided by Stafford House, post qualifying contract. (T&Cs apply contact us for more information) Some of what you'll need to be an Excursions Manager: Previous experience of running an excursion/activity/leisure programme or similar is essential (preferably in a summer/school setting) Be a great communicator with a good level of spoken and written English Be highly organised with a professional and an unflappable nature, able to think on your feet when issues arise Be a supportive leader, able to effectively manage your team, ensuring the happiness, safety and well-being of staff and students alike You must be profession and friendly.
