About the Role
Join our client's dedicated team, maintaining and improving one of Europe's busiest motorways. Our client is seeking a Level 3 Electronics Technician to play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Tunnels within its remit. Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll handle critical maintenance tasks and repairs across a diverse range of electronic systems.
Please note - The shift pattern is four on, four off (comprising two day and two night shifts from 6 -6). Visa Sponsorship is unavailable for this opportunity. You will be paid weekly via timesheets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operate and maintain plant monitoring systems, including SCADA, PLCs, I/O, and networks.
2. Maintain and repair technology systems like CCTV, incident detection, radio rebroadcast, fire alarms, and air monitoring systems.
3. Maintain traffic safety systems, such as barriers, sensors, and signals.
4. Fault-find and carry out repairs using technical drawings.
5. Complete maintenance reports and daily worksheets.
6. Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring Zero Harm.
7. Support sustainability initiatives and facilitate quick resolution of incidents.

About You
We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, a great communicator, and thrives under pressure. You should be a team player who's passionate about delivering excellence. The successful candidate must live within one hour's car commute (during peak traffic hours) of Dartford, and must have a UK driving license.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Recognised electronic or technology qualifications or apprenticeship.
2. IT literate and skilled in fault-finding using schematics.
3. Knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
4. Experience in maintaining electronics and technology systems.
5. Valid or willingness to train in MEWPs, confined spaces, and CSCS Safety Cards.
