Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship - Little Scallywags Day Nursery About the employer Here at Little Scallywags - we are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice looking to complete their level 3 early years educator apprenticeship to join our small & friendly team at Little Scallywags. Little Scallywags Day Nurseries consists of seven settings around the Birmingham and Staffordshire area. The nurseries are a family run business and benefit from the skills and experience of a strong management team, including nursing, qualified teacher status and family support. About the Role Key details: Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm, 40 hours per week Wage: £6.40 per hour Location: Carlyle RoadRowley Regis, West Midlands, B65 9BQ Apprenticeship Standard: Level 3 Early Years Educator Duration: 19 months Overview of the role: As a key part of the team you will be responsible for supporting the education and development of your key children through quality of teaching and learning. Responsibilities: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's development Monitor and observe children to ensure their well-being and safety Collaborate with other nursery staff to create a positive learning environment Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress Apprenticeship Summary: You will work towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification across a total duration of 19 months Training provider: LMP Group: https://lmp-group.co.uk/ All online/remote learning, no classroom or college day release An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship Candidate Requirements Skills & Personal Qualities Required: Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting Ability to engage and interact with children in a positive and supportive manner Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children Ability to work effectively as part of a team Qualifications Required: GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) - Essential GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) - Essential Level 2 Early Years practitioner qualification or equivalent - Preferred Next steps & Pre-employment checks (Permitting you’re eligible for the role) Please expect to receive contact from our LMP Education Recruitment team, to discuss your application further.
