We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Officer to join our team and play a key role in promoting the college's study programmes, brand and events. This role is perfect for an innovative individual with a passion for digital marketing, public relations, and community engagement. You will oversee digital campaigns, manage social media platforms, build relationships with media outlets, and create compelling content to enhance our visibility.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively within the marketing team to achieve student recruitment targets across full-time, part-time, apprenticeships and higher education programmes.
* Create and implement digital marketing campaigns, working closely with agencies and inhouse designers to generate creative ideas and manage the development of impactful content and assets.
* Contribute and develop the college's social media presence, creating platform-specific, engaging content to grow and connect with online communities.
* Lead PR and communication strategies to enhance the college's visibility, engagement, and reputation using diverse tools and channels.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries and maximising positive PR opportunities.
* Collaborate with the web team to monitor, update, and optimise the college website to ensure an exceptional user experience.
* Help plan and carry out college marketing events, ensuring alignment with promotional objectives and target audiences.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications:
* Marketing degree or equivalent preferred.
* Two years industry experience of marketing.
* Excellent social media knowledge.
* Good copy writing skills.
* Creative mindset.
