Position type: Permanent / Full time Working hours: Mon to Fri / 07:30 to 16:30 (16:00 Fridays) Salary / Benefits: upto £40k Company Van Standard benefits & holidays Key aim of the role: To ensure health & safety compliance across all NEO Sites, ensuring staff safety and regulatory & mandatory rules are met at all times. Support TCM’s through delivering ongoing training and explanations of any failings, whilst ensuring the Company Health & Safety Manager is aware of any challenges and risks. To manage Health & Safety risks on site on behalf of NEO Property Solutions and PTSG. Duties: As our Site Health and Safety Auditor you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our site-based work complies with all health and safety regulations with a strong focus on operative safety. Your duties typically include: Conducting Safety Audits and Inspections: Perform comprehensive evaluations of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Reviewing Safety Plans: Assess TCM safety plans to ensure they meet contract requirements and relevant health and safety regulations. Evaluating Safety Procedures: Analyse and verify organisational safety procedures and policies to ensure their necessity, effectiveness, and compliance with regulations. Providing Safety Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate workers and management on safety protocols and best practices. Investigating Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations of accidents or near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with safety regulations. Developing Safety Policies: Assist in the creation and implementation of health and safety policies tailored to the specific needs of the construction site or project. Maintaining Safety Records: Keep detailed records of safety audits, inspections, training sessions, and incident reports for compliance verification and continuous improvement. Advising on Safety Improvements: Provide recommendations to enhance safety measures and reduce risks on construction sites. Monitoring Corrective Actions: Ensure that identified safety issues are addressed promptly and effectively, and verify the implementation of corrective measures. These duties collectively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
