As an Electrical Project Engineer at Waukesha Magnetic Bearings, you will be responsible for developing the specification and design of electrical components and assemblies for control systems, working to customer requirements and standards, and as part of the wider team, to deliver custom-engineered active magnetic bearing (AMB) systems for large turbomachinery and high-performing rotating equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Assist with generation and review of technical and commercial proposals
2. Specify and design Electrical components and assemblies
3. Liaise with customers regarding electrical/electronic and mechanical interfaces
4. Manage the draughting of electrical components and assemblies
5. Generate cabinet project documentation (schematics, manuals, test procedures etc.) and application notes
6. Validation testing of cabinets/electrical assemblies
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
7. Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
8. Previous experience in electrical design of controls for similar industrial applications incorporating inverter drives
Also, ideally experienced with;
9. PLC systems
10. SOLIDWORKS
11. Design of certification for EMC, Machinerys and low voltage directives
