We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, well presented, individual with excellent communication and secretarial skills to join our interdisciplinary team. The role is interesting, varied and busy, seated at the front, central reception desk with a lot of patient and team contact. The post holder will provide general reception duties and administrative support for the inter-disciplinary nursing and therapy team.
Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, part of the Huntercombe Group, is a modern 52 bedded independent hospital situated on the old Frenchay Hospital site. Run in partnership with the NHS (North Bristol NHS Trust), we provide a specialist Level 1 and 2 inpatient rehabilitation service for individuals who have suffered a traumatic or acquired brain injury.
What you'll be working:
26 Hours per week
Evening - 20 hours per week (17:00-21:00 Monday-Friday)
Weekend – 12 hours per week working alternate weekends (10:00-16:00 Saturday and Sunday)
What you'll be doing:
The successful candidate will demonstrate their warm, approachable personality and ability to welcome and assist relatives, visitors and patients in the Centre. You will have a professional, polite telephone manner and take accurate messages for the interdisciplinary team. In addition, you will demonstrate your excellent organisational and secretarial skills to type reports, letters, minutes and generally support the wider team. You must be able to work using your own initiative, demonstrating a flexible approach and the ability to multi-task.
What you'll have:
You will need to be customer focused, with a professional manner and excellent verbal and communication skills. You will possess a sound knowledge of IT systems and be able to work in a busy patient environment.

The Interdisciplinary Team consists of Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Rehabilitation Assistants / Nursing Technicians and Administrative support staff.
