An opportunity has arisen for a full-time temporary Childcare Information Officer position at Children’s Service (Education) in Renfrewshire House.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled employee who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience to manage and organise data relating to early learning and childcare provision.
You will be responsible for managing and organising data on projections, uptake and demand of childcare places, and workforce development, Monitoring and managing the budget for ELC day care provision and workforce development and managing local data on childcare services for families.
You must have HNC/SVQ 3 in computing or approved equivalent, experience of working in public or support services, experience of compiling, managing and maintaining data bases, aswell as experience of information handling and producing statistical reports.
Experience in managing budgets, the ability to work as part of a team and independently and use own initiative is also essential
Applicants must be able to demonstrate well-developed people skills, effective organisational and planning skills and an ability to communicate at all levels.
Please note that this post is temporary for 23 Months, subject to business needs and funding or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
