Your background also includes quality control, auditing, and reporting to ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with established procedures.
About the Role
As the Lead Document Controller, your primary responsibility will be managing the organization, storage, retrieval, and distribution of critical documents including engineering drawings, technical specifications, reports, permits, and contracts. You will ensure that the most recent versions of documents are readily available while outdated versions are archived to prevent confusion. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders such as engineers, project managers, and external contractors to ensure they have access to the right documents at the right time. You'll also provide guidance on document control practices, lead meetings and workshops to improve processes, and ensure document security. Additional responsibilities include managing change control, conducting regular audits to verify accuracy, and maintaining a clear audit trail of all changes.

Grain LNG Importation Terminal is the largest regasification terminal in Europe and one of the top eight in the world by tank capacity. It is the only terminal in the UK capable of processing the full global range of LNG. The terminal plays a crucial role in meeting the UK's energy needs, providing around 12% of the nation's gas demand. Having undergone multiple phases of expansion since 2002, including the development of new storage tanks and jetties, The client continues to innovate with its project. This project is aimed at extending and expanding the terminal’s capacity to meet future market demands.
