Currently, we are seeking a Senior Town Planner to join us in our Reading office. We are excited by the recent growth and diversification of our projects, and this is a good opportunity to join an ambitious team that will provide you with plenty of scope for career progression in the coming years. You will be responsible for delivery in respect of planning requirements for a range of projects, primarily for water industry clients through some of our key frameworks. You will act as Town Planning Lead for the projects you work on, with support from the wider team. Work will include advising clients on planning requirements, strategies, and timescales; preparation and submission of applications for planning permission and listed building consent; EIA Screening Request submissions; and a range of other planning-related tasks, including liaison with internal multi-disciplinary project teams and external specialist sub-consultants. About You Ideally, you will be a chartered Town Planner or working towards chartership and hold a relevant Environmental or Town Planning degree. You will hold demonstrable experience as an Environmental / Town Planner. You will have knowledge and experience of legislation under the Town & Country Planning regime, particularly that relevant to the water industry or wider infrastructure projects. You will have knowledge and experience of liaison with local planning authorities, as well as statutory and non-statutory consultees.
