We're looking for a Finance Manager (Qualified Accountant) to join us in Bradford.
This is hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
As part of the continued growth and diversification of Accounts team at Liberty Shared Services (LSS), we are looking for additional Finance Managers to lead teams, workstreams, and projects across various group and external Opco brands.
As a Finance Manager, you will be a Qualified Accountant reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, supporting and working closely with our teams in Bradford and across the wider business, to deliver accurate reporting and analysis to internal and external stakeholders across the Liberty Global Footprint.

What will you be doing?
1. Month-end activities: You will perform accounting processes across the organization, prepare journal entries, and provide analysis and insight into areas of focus, whilst making recommendations to improve and simplify processes.
2. Stakeholder management: You will support and influence decision-making across the organization while working within internal reporting deadlines.
3. Control: You will implement an effective internal control framework, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, highlight and resolve any issues, and ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements, as well as liaise with auditors to provide evidence and supporting narrative, as required.
4. Process Improvement and Automation: You will identify opportunities to improve and simplify processes, working collaboratively to standardize and automate processes.
We tend to look for people with:
1. Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Qualified Accountant, or Audit Manager with Management Accounts experience.
2. Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA; ACCA; CIMA etc.) and either newly qualified or with a degree of post-qualified experience.
3. Coaching and development of less experienced finance and accounting colleagues.
4. Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
5. Experience working within large complex corporate structures, managing key stakeholder relationships and delivering to deadlines.
6. Experience in research into emerging/complex accounting or reporting issues.
7. Strong Excel skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Financial systems skills (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).
