Test and Commissioning Engineer – Electrical
Our client, one of the world’s leading engineering companies based in Wymondham, is currently seeking a Test and Commissioning Engineer to join their growing team.

As the Test and Commissioning Engineer, you will diagnose and resolve issues to avoid unnecessary trips for the overseas team.
The role includes:
* Testing and commissioning new company products
* Providing technical support: responding to inquiries and troubleshooting issues remotely, including diagnosing software and component problems and providing solutions
* Remote support: assisting users with application access, configuration, and software installations
* Documentation: recording support activities, troubleshooting procedures, and solutions for knowledge sharing
* User training: guiding users on equipment operation
* Escalation and collaboration: working with other teams or third-party providers to resolve complex issues
* Customer communication: maintaining professional communication, providing updates and guidance to ensure a positive experience
Key requirements:
* Technical expertise and problem-solving skills
* Strong knowledge of 3-phase power systems
* Customer service orientation for remote support
* Knowledge of PLC software is advantageous
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
* Strong knowledge of electrical equipment
* Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration
