The role
The Supply Chain Co-ordinator will support the Head of Supply Chain by managing operational and tactical tasks, enabling the department to focus on strategic priorities and high-value initiatives. The role involves ensuring efficient shipment performance, cost accuracy, and vendor management while contributing to the seamless functioning of cross-functional supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
Shipment Management
* Oversee program/client shipment performance across all carriers, ensuring adherence to agreed KPIs.
* Analyse shipment charges against rate cards/quotes and investigate discrepancies in increased charges.
* Oversight of pickups from multiple Uniphar sites.
Invoice and Cost Verification
* Conduct invoice and credit note checks for accuracy from our outsourced partners.
* Vetting pass-through costs from Program Teams to clients, ensuring compliance and transparency.
Cross-Functional Coordination
* Organize and lead cross-functional forecast meetings to align supply chain operations with organizational needs.
* Provide ad hoc operational support, such as wholesaler setup assistance.
* Design of supply chain processes, built for optimization and to take advantage of in-house, existing efficiencies.
Operational Support
* Ensure accurate documentation of supply chain activities and maintain records for compliance.
* Proactively identify process improvement opportunities within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
Essential Candidate Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
* Proven experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or a related role.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, especially in cost analysis and shipment performance metrics.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills for effective cross-functional coordination.
* Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
Desirable
* Familiarity with pharmaceutical logistics or similar regulated industries.
* Knowledge of carrier KPIs and rate card management.
* Experience working with subcontractors and SOPs.

How We'd Like To Work Together
As we are a global team, there is flexibility to be based in one of Uniphar's offices or work from home. There may be a need for face-to-face meetings in other locations, as needed. There may also be some flexibility required in order to interact with colleagues or clients in their time zones (i.e. it's not a '9 to 5' type of job).
