Golley Slater is looking for a creative, effective, and visually captivating designer to join our thriving Leeds agency. Your skills in layout, composition, typography and colour theory will be utilized to create compelling visuals for our agency and our clients. Collaborating with our Art Directors, Artworkers and Account Handlers to offer support, advice, and ideation that creates exceptional design solutions that align with brand guidelines and objectives. Key Responsibilities: Produce creative and effective designs using retailer guidelines Work productively on paid client briefs Complete work on brief, budget, and deadline Participate in internal projects Supervise and nurture work during the end-to-end process by guiding artwork studio Confidently articulate your design ideas to the team Ensure the company’s visual identity gives a consistent brand representation across all touchpoints Demonstrate a good understanding of clients, their challenges, target audiences and media opportunities Essential skills needed for this role: Basic sketching/scamping skills Ideation Typography Creativity Communication and problem solving Time management Required experience and knowledge 1-2 years of experience as digital or graphic designer Familiarity with branding and design principles Knowledge of touchpoints and production for different media, including digital Proficient in software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat.
