Duration: 6 months (potential 12-month extension)
Daily Rate: £550 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Manchester and/or London)
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading client’s Advanced Analytics Program.
The role focuses on two critical projects:
1. Customer Index Score: Collaborate with a SAS Solution implementation team and internal business stakeholders. Experience in working with third-party vendors and internal teams is essential.
2. Self-Service ThoughtSpot: Focus on data mapping and enabling internal users with a “low code” tool for data analysis. Experience in data mapping/mining with outputs into Business Intelligence and Reporting tools is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Map data fields and integrate them into the Data Hub from systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and Business Warehouse.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects and developers to ensure seamless data integration.
- Define metrics and calculations to support analytics and reporting in Power BI dashboards.
- Navigate and mine data catalogs, verifying data availability or identifying integration needs.
- Act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise as a Business Analyst in data-focused projects involving source systems, data hubs, and dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with data mapping, data mining, and business intelligence tools (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Power BI).
- Strong technical knowledge of data integration and analytics workflows.
- Ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Track record of collaborating with third-party vendors and internal teams on advanced analytics initiatives.
