Cranleigh STEM has partnered with a renowned manufacturing company that designs and manufactures superconducting electromagnets for science and is now recruiting for a Test Engineer to join their team in West Sussex. As Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing magnets, performing leak testing and completing QA documentation. The successful candidate will possess a technical background in engineering and ideally bring relevant test and installation experience. Test Engineer responsibilities Delivering services to customers effectively and on time, providing clear communication Testing, Service and Installation of superconducting magnets. Creating documentation for Test, Service and Installation purposes. To test magnets, according to requirements (using the Mater Operational Plan) and/or Project schedule. To ensure these products meet the required quality level within the schedule time frame. Support design and development through product testing as required. Test Engineer requirements Degree level qualification in Electronics, Physics or Engineering – highly desired. Experience testing and installing high-tech equipment. Excellent communication skills.
