It is an exciting time to join Rochdale Borough Council and we are looking for a HR Team Leader to join the HR Pay and Operational Service Team .
You should have a proven track record of motivating and supervising a team whilst ensuring work streams are appropriately prioritised and deadlines achieved.
We are looking for someone who can immediately provide an effective contribution to the team and have knowledge and experience of manipulating data, using spreadsheets and databases, to produce management information.
As an Operational HR Team Leader you will focus on supporting and motivating the Operational HR and Employee Resources team to ensure team and service objectives are met.
The post holder will also be involved in operational policy development, providing HR advice to managers of the Council relating to operational HR and resources matters, support the development of corporate HR projects and priorities and develop and deliver training and development events to managers and schools.
This is an excellent opportunity for those with a HR Operational background HR to build on their existing knowledge, skills and experience, and join a supportive team with a ‘can do’ attitude.
A key priority for the post holder is to evaluate current operational processes to identify where improvements can be made using automation, to enhance service delivery and customer experience.
