We are working with a client who is looking for a Response Intelligence Analyst to join their team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to utilise their response/intelligence/analytical experience within a global organisation which operates in difficult and challenging environments.
This position is to start ASAP and will be for at least six months with the potential to move to permanent. A shift-based role, working a 12-hour (7am – 7pm/7pm – 7am) 4 shifts on / 4 off rotation. You will need to be able to drive to the organisation’s location based in South West London; free parking is available or travel by public transport - London Waterloo to Feltham - 35 minutes, Clapham Junction to Feltham - 25 minutes.
Hourly Pay: £21.38 ph including Holiday Pay (all in rate £24.82ph) as a PAYE OR £29.50ph if working via an Umbrella Co.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and report on world events and play a vital role in how the company responds to an incident.
2. Search for potential threats or incidents that could affect the company’s people, assets, and reputation.
3. Look beyond traditional major media networks to get advance warning of news.
4. Exploit social media and harness various tools and software platforms to assess news and make initial assessments.
5. Contribute to the safety of staff and business travellers worldwide and contact travelling staff during emergencies.
6. Maintain the company’s global assets and emergency contact information and respond to queries from business travellers.
7. Assess tactical intelligence sources for immediate impact on the organisation.
8. Interpret and use data sources with a good aptitude for analysis and excellent problem-solving skills.
9. Maintain broad knowledge of global geopolitical affairs and situational awareness.
10. Communicate effectively with different levels of the organisation including senior leadership.
11. Demonstrate IT competency – advanced use of MS Word & Excel and aptitude to learn new IT systems and platforms for reporting.
12. Exhibit meticulous note-taking, record-keeping, and organisational skills to report events clearly and effectively.
13. Prioritise effectively and work well under pressure during emergency response situations.
14. Be responsive to changing requirements and adaptable to unpredictable circumstances.
15. Present information effectively to small and large audiences and produce effective reports.
