If you’re a natural multitasker with a knack for problem-solving and a solid understanding of Health and Safety, this could be the perfect role for you Key Responsibilities as Office Manager Administrative Management: Supervise Office Assistants, ensuring reception is covered, and office duties are completed efficiently. Handle day-to-day office operations, addressing issues promptly to maintain smooth workflows. Health & Safety: Act as the main point of contact for all Health & Safety matters across both offices. Keep all health and safety policies updated and ensure sufficient First Aiders and Fire Wardens are trained. Conduct annual Wellbeing Risk Assessments for all staff and ensure compliance with regulations. Office Operations & Facilities Management: Develop office policies to improve efficiency and ensure staff adherence. Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory. Oversee the cleanliness, upkeep, and maintenance of office spaces, coordinating repairs and contractor services when necessary. Human Resources Support: Work with the HR team to support staff engagement and help create a positive work environment. Assist with onboarding new staff and organising training events. Financial Management: Help plan the office budget, process invoices, and manage petty cash. Assist with employee travel requests, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Event Planning: Organize internal office events, meetings, and conferences, managing logistics and arrangements. Make necessary travel arrangements for staff when needed. Technology and IT Support: Work with the IT team to ensure office technology and systems are up to date and functional. Security: Implement and monitor office security protocols, including access control and emergency response procedures. What are we looking for? Proven experience in office management and facilities coordination. Health & Safety knowledge (NEBOSH/IOSH preferred). Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. This a full time office based role, working from the Gosforth Office. What can we offer you?
