By following the Swim England learn to swim framework, we build confidence in our swimmers through fun, enjoyable lessons. Many have progressed to competitive swimming and even represented our country. Teaching our swimming lessons requires delivering safe, fun, and progressive lessons. We also prioritize our teachers' career and personal development. We offer contracted hours according to your availability. We cover your safeguarding and DBS checks, and provide insurance, allowing you to work in all our leisure centres with opportunities for personal and career development through continued training and learning. Our in-house Aquatic Training Academy offers ongoing training through specialist CPDs in swimming teaching, with opportunities to progress into management or other business areas. All teachers receive free membership at our centres, plus one for a friend or family member. What you’ll need: Excellent customer service skills, comfort dealing with all ages and backgrounds. STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2 qualification. Valid RLSS UK NPLQ, NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is essential. This role requires a DBS check.
