About the Role
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all aspects of the Packing Department, as detailed below:
* Organise and plan the production of the Packing Department on days, ensuring all orders are produced to the correct specification.
* Meet KPI targets both agreed and set with the Factory Manager and General Manager and work to and deliver agreed budget targets for costs and head counts.
* Ensure all finished products and work-in-progress are correctly labelled for traceability, and that all packing records are completed.
* Ensure good housekeeping of the packing and seasoning areas.
* Train and mentor the Packing team.
* Administrate holiday shift patterns with the Factory Manager and in accordance with company policy, ensuring all necessary cover is in place.
* Liaise with HR regarding timekeeping and absences, complying with the company absence procedure & policy, discipline and grievance.

Working hours are Sunday to Thursday, 08.00-17.00
