Job Title: Conduct Compliance Executive (12-18 months FTC)

How you’ll play your part
In this role, you will act as a primary point of contact between MBFS' Business Compliance (second line of defence) and MBFS' wider business. The primary purpose of the role is to manage regulatory and conduct compliance risks by:
1. Identifying forthcoming changes to the regulatory framework relevant to MBFS.
2. Ensuring compliance risks are identified, mitigated, remediated and reported on.
3. Providing subject matter expert advice and guidance on all matters relating to regulatory and compliance risk.
4. Co-ordinating the completion of regulatory and other returns and information requests across the business as requested by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
5. Driving engagement on the subject of regulatory compliance and conduct culture at all levels up to and including MBFS' Senior Leadership Team.
Main Accountabilities
Regulatory advice and support:
1. Provide specialist regulatory and compliance advice and promote a compliance culture throughout the business.
2. Manage regulatory risk by working with business areas to cultivate and maintain relationships.
Monitoring and review:
1. Assist in the design, establishment and implementation of the Compliance Monitoring plan.
2. Conduct compliance monitoring reviews and lead engagement with business management to discuss findings.
Ongoing process and policy review:
1. Assist in the periodic review of MBFS policies and procedures.
Horizon scanning and regulatory change:
1. Contribute to a monthly legal and regulatory update to the wider MBFS business.
Regulatory and internal reporting:
1. Manage all regular reporting requests from the FCA.
Senior Managers & Certification Regime:
1. Contribute to the maintenance of a compliant SM&CR framework.

1. Strong working knowledge of FCA principles and rules.
2. Ability to carry out multiple tasks and prioritise workloads.
3. Excellent communication skills.
