Guest Engagement & Volunteer Co-ordinator - The Immanuel Project
Hours: Full time, 30.00hrs
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Engagement:
1. Design, co-ordinate and deliver The Immanuel Project's Guest Engagement Programme; reviewing regularly to ensure it is fit for purpose.
2. Promote the sessions to ensure a good level of engagement and attendance by guests (e.g., producing publicity for guest interactions and external partners).
3. Create any resources needed for the seasons.
4. Co-ordinate the front of house, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for guests, colleagues, volunteers, and visitors.
5. Build relationships with local services such as hairdressers, housing support, and NHS services to support The Immanuel Project's Guest Engagement offer.
6. Develop a rhythm of prayer at the project (including seasonal services).
7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the programme, including attendance and collating guest feedback for funders and trustees.
8. Work with the Operations Manager to plan the necessary people resources to run the sessions.
9. Coordinate Christmas gift offers for guests.
10. Ensure volunteer profiles are up to date and advertised effectively.
11. Ensure new volunteers receive induction and training as appropriate.
12. Keep volunteers updated with changes and developments at the project through newsletters, catch-up chats, and biannual volunteer meetings.
13. Value and celebrate volunteer contributions.
14. Offer opportunities for volunteers to utilize existing skills and develop new ones.
15. Build positive relationships with local organisations that promote volunteering.
16. Ensure all paperwork is up to date.
17. Collate data around volunteering for the Ops Manager and trustees.
2. Other Duties:
1. Deputise for the manager when they are offsite or on leave.
2. Keep social media pages up to date.
3. Assist with funding applications.
4. Attend occasional meetings with trustees and external partners as necessary.
