Job Overview
Tecalemit is a long established company serving the garage workshop equipment market. We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and maintaining accurate records.
Duties
1. Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
2. Maintain payroll records, including employee data, time sheets, and deductions.
3. Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure accurate employee information is reflected in the payroll system.
4. Utilise payroll software, in particular Sage pay for efficient payroll processing.
5. Prepare reports for HR Manager or finance team and/or management analysis as required by them.
6. Assist with the implementation of HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy.
7. Administer pension, life assurance and employee assistance programmes.
Skills
1. Proficiency in relevant software, particularly Sage pay.
2. Experience with the accounts payable processes that relate to payroll functions.
3. Knowledge of human resources practices as they relate to payroll administration.
4. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi task.
5. Strong attention to detail and an absolute commitment to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.
6. The ability to be adaptable and help with any ad hoc tasks as required.
The role is part time, in the region of 27.5 hours per week. Some working from home may be agreed following a successful probationary period.
