An experienced Accounts Assistant is required to join an established and successful manufacturing firm based in Kearsley. Reporting to and working closely with the Finance Manager, your duties will include;
1. Purchase ledger
2. Sales Ledger
3. Credit Control
4. Allocating payments and inputting credit notes
5. Bank and statement reconciliations
6. Quarterly VAT returns
7. Monthly accruals
8. Inter company reconciliations
9. Taking credit card payments
10. Assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts
11. Payroll experience would be an advantage, but will be trained
To be successful, you will have 2-3 years minimum similar experience, knowledge of Sage line 50 and AAT qualification. This is only a small team and career progression cannot be guaranteed. Due to location, you must have your own transport.
