Job summary
The role of County Administration Apprentice is a varied office based role, which is integral to the smooth running of the Ambulance service in Wiltshire. Our experienced administration team is ready to welcome and nurture a bright, enthusiastic person who would like to learn, and develop skills in all Microsoft office applications. We are looking for a candidate who has a keen eye for detail and patience to see a task through to completion. The role will involve not only keyboard and telephone skills, but an element of customer, general public and management interaction. The is an exiting opportunity for someone who would like to start their career in Business Administration.
Main duties of the job
Maintain confidential and accurate online filing systems and data input for all records generated within the County, compliant with legislation, and the data protection policy.
Under the supervision of Administration team, organise and book meetings, create agenda's and support the distribution of appropriate meeting papers. Collection and organising of post, and when required deliver outgoing post to the main post office.
Undertake scanning, photocopying, shredding and general office duties which are associated with the smooth running of the ambulance service.
Work with the County Business Manager to identify and develop own learning needs, participate and support personal development.

12. Successful acceptance onto Level 2 or Level 3 administration apprenticeship standard with an approved provider.
13. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
