As a Graduate Planner within a National Consultancy, you will be in a position to excel in your career with the training, support, and guidance to enable you to gain rounded experience and professional direction to pass your APC. You will be placed in a diverse and dynamic team where you will work closely with clients and team members on the spectrum of Planning tasks, alongside other graduates going through the same APC process.
The team provides solutions and strategic advice to its clients whilst working on a wide range of projects for public and private sector clients.
As a Graduate Planner, you will be provided with the training and support to help you achieve Chartership. The right candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated to achieve this.
Key role requirements include:
1. Preparation of Planning Appraisal Reports and Planning Statements
2. Undertaking planning research
3. Preparing and submitting small planning applications
4. Preparing submissions to discharge planning conditions
5. Attendance of meetings, site visits, and public consultation events with colleagues for large scale projects
6. Assisting colleagues with large scale planning applications
