Description We are working with a Chemical Manufacturer who are looking for a Production Manager to join their team based in Warrington. Key Responsibilities Supervise, guide, and support a diverse team across both the production and warehouse departments. Take an active, hands-on role in managing daily production and warehouse operations to meet key performance targets. Conduct staff evaluations, determine training needs, and facilitate skill development to align with both immediate and long-term business objectives. Oversee production planning, ensuring optimal resource allocation, asset efficiency, and operational effectiveness. Manage inventory and warehouse functions to maintain effective storage, handling, and movement of raw materials and finished goods. Gather, assess, and track operational KPIs, implementing corrective measures when necessary, and collaborate with other teams to resolve operational challenges. Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, applying lean manufacturing principles. Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations while meeting Process Safety Performance Indicator objectives. Contribute as a member of the Leadership and COMAH teams. Serve as a secondary Incident Controller, supporting emergency response initiatives. Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Uphold high standards of workplace safety and cleanliness, adhering to all health, safety, and housekeeping guidelines. Maintain awareness of the Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP), emergency protocols, equipment, and products. Be adaptable and willing to work overtime when necessary to meet business demands.
