Job: Senior Site Manager
Location: Southwest (Bristol, Bridgwater, Taunton)
Salary: Up to £75k + Package
My client is looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager who has experience on residential builds and who is hungry to further develop their career.
As the Senior Site Manager, you will:
1. Ensure compliance on site
2. Be the number 1 on site
3. Report to a visiting Contracts Manager
4. Coordinate labour and resources on site
5. Manage material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock
6. Ensure that all plots are built to the highest standard of quality
7. Undertake company directed quality control procedures and inspections
8. Monitor and controlling the cost of production
9. Initiate and attend plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector
10. Carry out toolbox talks or similar on-site briefings
11. Liaise proactively with other internal departments, externals suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved
12. Deliver a high standard of site presentation at all times
Key Criteria:
13. CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid certificate
14. BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 3 or 4 or similar
15. Minimum 5 years as a Site Manager
16. Proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively
17. Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
18. Able to work with a high degree of accuracy
