Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to join our team in Cumbria or Lancashire. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design, development, and implementation of control, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
This is a Contract position with a minimum duration of 12 months. The rate for this role is negotiable.
About the Role
The Electrical Engineering Lead will lead and manage the EC&I engineering team, providing technical guidance and support. Key responsibilities include:
* Oversight of the design and implementation of control systems, power systems, and instrumentation systems.
* Ensuring all engineering activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
* Collaboration with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
* Chartered Engineer status preferred.
* Extensive experience in EC&I engineering, preferably within the nuclear / clean energy sector.
* Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
Our Benefits
At Delkia, we offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
