About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist to support the Travel Vaccination Service. In this crucial role, you will provide specialist clinical care and advice, helping to develop and deliver essential vaccinations across NHS Lanarkshire.
With a focus on travel vaccinations, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including public health specialists, Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be vital in shaping the future of vaccination services.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Registered Nurse or AHP with valid NMC / HCPC Registration
2. Educated to Degree Level
3. Post graduate qualification at a minimum of Level 10 (Hons) or working towards
4. Expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice.
6. Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality / area of practice .
7. Leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery.
8. Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification
9. The post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative
10. Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Effective time management skills
12. Working knowledge of basic information technology
