Recruitment Consultant – Southampton – Office Support and Soft Services Desk

The Role:
We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to be based in the Southampton office; the ideal candidate will be an ambitious, self-motivated, and organised individual wanting to take the next step in their career. Recruitment is heavily sales-focused, and we want people who enjoy building relationships and developing business where no two days are ever the same. A large part of the role involves talking on the phone, so you need confidence with the ability to listen and deliver a high-quality service to candidates and clients. You should be able to deliver professional and credible verbal and written communication to both candidates and clients.

Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing for job vacancies through various means.
2. Identifying, generating, and maintaining a pipeline of business within your market, both new and existing clients and candidates.
3. Meeting with clients and candidates.
4. Negotiating with clients.
5. Spotting opportunities for short, medium, and long-term wins.
6. Writing job specifications.
7. Building relationships with clients, candidates, and colleagues.
8. Maintaining a high-quality database of candidates and clients which allows you to seek out business quickly and actively.
9. Managing worker compliance and timesheet management.
Requirements:
1. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the recruitment sector, within Industrial or Business Services, Commercial, Administration and Facilities Services, or related industries.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
4. UK Driving Licence (preferable).
