Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker specializing in children's services for our team at Grade 9. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting children and their families within the community, ensuring their emotional and social needs are met. As a Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include assessing the needs of children and implementing strategies that foster their growth, resilience, and well-being. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to create a network of support for children facing challenges such as abuse, neglect, or behavioral issues. Utilizing evidence-based practices, you will develop and maintain individualized care plans, providing counseling and resources to promote healthy development. You will also be an advocate for children's rights, striving to create a safer and more supportive environment for the youth in our care. Responsibilities
Assess the needs of children and families through interviews and observations.
Develop and implement individualized care plans for children in need of support.
Provide counseling and therapy to children and their families.
Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate services.
Advocate for the rights and interests of children in various settings.
Maintain accurate and detailed case records, documenting progress and adjustments in care plans.
Conduct follow-up evaluations to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Valid social work license in the state of practice.
At least two years of experience working with children and families in a social services setting.
Strong understanding of child development and social welfare issues.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Hours Per Week : 37.00
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £28.09
Location: Hull, East Riding Of Yorkshire
