About the role We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our friendly team of kitchen staff at Peel Clothworkers Primary School. The purpose of this role is to provide a midday meal for pupils and staff of the school and dining duties such as moving furniture and cleaning. Day to day you will be responsible for: Preparing, cooking and serving food, ensuring that guidelines on portion sizing and menu plans are complied with Servicing any special dietary requirements Cleaning all large and small equipment Washing up all crockery, cutlery, food containers and kitchen utensils Maintaining food handling and personal hygiene standards A workplace that invests in you A competitive salary that increases each 12 months until you reach the salary maximum. Annual leave starting from 21 days and 10 Bank Holidays; your annual leave will increase after your first year and again after your third year.
