We are currently seeking a forward thinking, dynamic, motivated individual to work within Barts Health Trust. This position is based in the Cardiac Department at St Bartholomew's Hospital but will include cross site rotation at other sites within the Trust. The successful candidate will contribute to the service provision within non-invasive cardiac investigations.
Applicants would ideally be competent in non-invasive cardiac procedures including ECGs, holter and ambulatory BP monitor fitting, Holter analysis, assisting in exercise testing and CPEX. Please refer to the job description for full requirements.
We have a supportive environment for training and development. You will be expected to demonstrate maturity and experience consistent with this grade and position; however, further training will be provided if necessary.
Main duties of the job
An experienced Senior Cardiographer is required to work competently with a multi-disciplinary team in the Cardiology Unit at St Bartholomew's Hospital with site rotation to the Networks. The post holder will be required to perform foundation level tasks unsupervised and to assist senior staff as required. The post holder must be able to participate in non-invasive clinical procedures competently. In addition, the post holder may be required to supervise more junior staff and to give support to senior staff members.
