As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Event Coordinator to join us.
Role Overview:
As a Junior Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of events across a range of high-profile venues. This is a hands-on position requiring excellent organisational skills, adaptability, and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with the three directors as well as clients, ensuring the smooth delivery of events while gaining valuable experience in the fast-paced events industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of live events at sporting stadiums and other prestigious venues.
* Support senior event managers with event logistics, including venue liaison, supplier coordination, and on-site setup.
* Coordinate schedules, timelines, and documentation to ensure all event deliverables are met on time.
* Provide administrative support, including preparing contracts, event briefs, proposals, and post-event reports.
* Working on company social media campaigns and content.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to maintain clear and efficient workflows.
* Attend site visits and client meetings to support the pre-event planning process.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards throughout all event phases.
* Troubleshoot and provide solutions during live events to ensure smooth execution.
Requirements:
* 1+ year of experience in event coordination or a related field (internship or academic experience will be considered).
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
* Proficiency in iOS Pages/Numbers/Keynote and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
* A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for live events and customer satisfaction.
* Full UK driving license is desirable but not essential.
