Job Description:
Progress Teachers are seeking a dedicated and proactive Inclusion Centre Manager to join a team at a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham. This Ofsted-rated "Good" school is part of a highly respected trust, committed to providing an inclusive, supportive environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the Inclusion Centre, providing targeted support for students facing barriers to learning.
2. Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to support students with a range of needs, including SEMH, SEND, and EAL.
3. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies to support students' academic and social development.
4. Monitor and evaluate the impact of intervention programs, ensuring they align with school policies and government guidelines.
5. Mentor and support students in developing positive behavior, self-regulation skills, and social interactions.
6. Oversee the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing regular reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
1. Relevant qualifications in education, SEND, or a related field.
2. Experience working in an educational or pastoral support setting, ideally in a secondary school.
3. Proven ability to engage and motivate students, especially those with additional needs.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with staff, parents, and external professionals.
Desirable:
1. Experience in managing staff or volunteers.
2. Understanding of multi-agency working and safeguarding practices.

Pay: £30,087.00-£32,515.00 per year
