Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a leading electrical / electromechanical engineering supplier with a presence UK wide. \n\nThe successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts across the UK, with a large project focus for products / systems such as electric motors, drives, linear drives, gearboxes, actuators and more.\n\nThe successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will ideally have a technical electrical or electronic engineering background, and experience selling an electrical / electronic product / system. \n\nPackage\n£40,000-£55,000\nBonus\nCompany Car\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays\nPension\nPhone & laptop\nAdditional benefits \nArea Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Role\nFocus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts across the UK, with a large project focus for products / systems such as electric motors, drives, linear drives, gearboxes, actuators and more.\nMaintaining sales for electric motor, drives, linear products, gearboxes, couplings, drive wheels, motion control products and more with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.\nWill have a full involvement in the sales process from enquiry right through to closure, liaising with team members on supplier agreements, project, design, after sales care and more.\nWork on a Hybrid basis, ideally 2 days in the office (Leicester) and with regular visits to customer sites when required.\nLiaise with various engineering departments. \nArea Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements\nExperience as a sales engineer, area sales manager, technical sales engineer, key account manager, business development manager, project engineer, project sales engineer or similar, ideally within an electrical / electronic engineering environment.\nA technical qualification is highly advantageous.
Ideally HNC, HND, or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering. IT or similar Engineering discipline.\nCandidates with experience selling any electrical / electronic or electromechanical products, are strongly advised to apply. Full product training provided.\nFull clean driving license.\nWillingness to operate on a Hybrid basis, 2 days a week from the in office in Leicester, with regular travel to customer sites
