HR Officer
Location: Biggleswade
Salary: £24,465.18 - £27,368.83 per annum
The School is a secondary school with a roll of around 900 students, including approximately 200 students in their Sixth Form. They are the only school serving Biggleswade and the surrounding villages, which brings both advantages and responsibilities. Their unequivocal responsibility is to ensure that they support the needs of all students within their catchment, accommodating students from across the full spectrum of ability and being truly inclusive.
The Role
They have an exciting opportunity for a HR Officer to join their team at the School! You will be responsible for all personnel duties within the school environment, including the oversight of safeguarding for appointing new staff and recruitment. The post holder is responsible for the employee life cycle at school level, which includes sick absence, pay, general terms and conditions, and providing support to manage low-level HR queries.
The Opportunity
1. Maintain orderly and appropriate records throughout recruitment campaigns and employee lifecycles.
2. Process payroll services.
3. Be the first point of contact for all staff on HR, pay, and contract-related matters, with guidance from the Hub Team.
4. Work within a friendly team and alongside the school Principal.

1. Experience in HR.

3. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.
4. Ability to prioritise tasks appropriately.
5. Confident and approachable manner.
