About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to manage some of the world’s most recognisable assets like the Mersey Tunnels and Mersey Ferries. You will supervise a small professional team which will deliver an effective and efficient mechanical systems maintenance function and a long-term Capital investment programme across the Mersey Tunnels, Mersey Ferries, Headquarters building and bus stations across the Liverpool City Region. The post holder will liaise with internal client departments to ensure that expectations of service delivery are maintained and improved upon. You will ensure LCRCA, its management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory and statutory agencies, and that LCRCA environmental and safety policies and procedures are being followed. This is a 6 month fixed term vacancy. About the person You will be qualified to degree level in a mechanical technical subject. You will have a proven track record of manging staff and delivering investment programmes, statutory compliance and planned maintenance activities in a multi-disciplinary environment.
