Support staff at RGS provide a vital role in ensuring that the School not only runs smoothly but continues to develop. A range of roles exists from part time, term time only to full time and support staff have excellent opportunities to contribute towards school life. Although we do not ask our support staff to undertake teaching roles, we warmly encourage participation in school trips and co-curricular activities.

Support staff are paid on the RGS scales, which are closely related to the locally negotiated Buckinghamshire Council pay range. Responsibilities
Welcome visitors and incoming calls:
Ensuring a responsive and welcoming reception for all students, visitors and enquiries.
Efficiently managing incoming calls, responding positively to all queries, taking appropriate action and prioritising as necessary.
School email, mail and communications:
Ensure management of the Admin emails are prioritised and transferred precisely to relevant personnel.
Collation and distribution of internal communications, e.g. daily form time notices and all staff communications.
School admin:
Arranging and booking tours for prospective parents.
To oversee and administer the bookings of the school minibuses.
School Office:
To be a proactive member of the administration team, providing help and support to colleagues when able and needed, e.g. sending Praise Cards home, typing letters, petty cash, accessing student locker information.
