Job Description
A full-time opportunity for a highly experienced B1 Licenced Aircraft Engineer with 777 type rating to work for a leading MRO based at Manchester Airport (M90).
The role will involve carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repairs to aircraft and its structures.
Key duties & responsibilities of the role:
* Carry out aircraft inspections.
* Working with the Check Manager to agree on maintenance targets and planning.
* Deliver maintenance task to schedule and update maintenance records.
* Certifying specific aircrafttypes on their QA044 Staff Authorisation Document.
* Monitor all maintenance projects against the planned schedule, and provide regular briefings, guidanceand support to the teams.
* Work with CheckManager and B1/B2 Certifying Engineers to identifyimpending problems and generate solutions.
* Assist the Check Manager with the personal development of engineering teams.
* Carry out DQS self-audits.
Skills and Experience Required to be Successful in this Licenced Aircraft Engineer role:
* Part 66 LicenceB1, B2, B1/B2.
* Indentured apprenticeship or equivalent in an aviation engineering or similar mechanical engineering field.
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a technician.
* Full UK driving license.
