Role: To assist the HR team by completing administrative tasks ranging from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations under the guidance of HR colleagues. The HR Apprentice will undertake a Level 3 CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice Qualification alongside receiving on-the-job training and feedback. Key Responsibilities: Support the onboarding process for new hires including preparing induction materials, coordinating day 1 inductions, conduct right to work checks and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed Maintain and update employee records on the HRIS and Time and Attendance systems including Leavers, Movers and Shakers, Maternity, Paternity, Absence etc. Assist with employee relations including responding to employee enquiries, minute taking, preparing letters and other relevant documentation Assist with management of the shared HR inbox and to provide first line support to ensure enquiries are dealt with professionally, accurately and in a timely manner. Preparation of employment contracts, changes to employment terms and conditions letters Provide and promote HR service excellence and foster effective teamwork and business relationships Deal with confidential and sensitive information in a professional and secure manner, in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
