We have an established in-service training programme. You will also be well supported by experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapists and Band 8a Clinical Leads in each rotational post.
Main duties of the job
Through a holistic approach, provide a high standard of Occupational Therapy service, facilitating and maximising patient potential within the service boundaries.
Participate in the Band 6 rotational scheme, which involves working across both sites and in the community.
Fulfil a teaching and supervisory role with peers, junior staff and students on placement.

Person specification
Experience/ Knowledge
* Broad acute inpatient experience at Band 5 Occupational Therapist level or above
* Experience at Band 6 Occupational Therapist level
Skills/ Abilities
* Ability to demonstrate skills in assessment and treatment of patients in line with current practice and research
* Ability to work without supervision
* Experience of supervision of other staff i.e., assistants and technical instructors
