Functie Project Leader – Corporate Strategy 70-110k Euro
Our client is a global financial institution, offering retail and commercial banking services. The Corporate Strategy department reports directly to the CEO and provides strategic advice and consulting services to all business units across all functional lines. The consultants assist business unit CEOs and executive board members with strategy formulation across the various business lines and all geographies, where they focus on high visibility, high impact projects.
The exposure to a wide range of topics, lines of business and top management, makes Corporate Strategy an ideal breeding ground for future management. Consequently, our client has had an excellent track record in both core strategic projects as well as in placement of alumni in senior positions.
You are responsible for analysing, composing and delivering a detailed solution to the issue at hand. To achieve that, the Project Leader manages a multi-discipline project team composed of 2-3 consultants, representatives of internal clients and (sometimes) external consultants.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A minimum of four years strategy consulting experience, preferably from a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
2. Proven project leadership and team management skills.
3. Good communication/influencing skills with the ability to work at all levels, including C-level executives.
4. Excellent analytical skills (i.e. financial modelling and Excel) with strong attention to detail.
5. Clear knowledge depth and content expertise in one or more financial services topics.
6. Strong business sense combined with the ability to research new topics to develop insights and drive actionable results.
7. Strong focus on innovation and ability to develop out-of-the-box solutions with businesses.
8. Willingness to travel worldwide and fluency in English.
