Director Role (though a partner appointment will be seriously considered) with an international firm of accountants regarded as one of the best deal advisory practices in the UK. On-going success growing the financial due diligence practice has created a key opening for a further director (or partner) appointment.
Supporting the partners, the role encompasses the provision of financial due diligence to major privately owned and private equity backed businesses. This covers the whole range of corporate finance transactions from MBOs to mergers, acquisitions, and disposals. You will be part of the leadership team with responsibility for managing, coaching, and developing the team, leading transactions, and contributing to revenue generation for the Leeds office.
A qualified accountant is required, most likely ACA, CA, or ACCA (ICAEW or ICAS) with extensive client-facing due diligence experience. A sound commercial understanding beyond the financials is required, and a demonstrable track record of board-level interaction and influence is essential. Those wishing to progress beyond director to partner will need to demonstrate the ability to win new clients and deal pitches.
